In efforts to write and entire paragraph about myself , I called upon those who know me best. I have asked a few friends to describe me in 3 words / quirky, free-spirited and loyal. I can agree with all of those, hands down. Free-spirited is the one you'll see most as my client, sandwiched by quirky and loyal. I will always be the one to dance like no ones watching just to get ya to crack a smile. You'll see me go with the flow while Im helping you through each step. We will morph with the session as it goes on, and get those creative whimsy shots of you being a total babe. And I will always be on your team, rooting for you and cheering you on past our session. Through out the years, a client has rarely been only a client to me . They become lifelong friends.
I never knew I would love taking peoples photos so much, and honestly never pictured myself here where I am today. I was super into creating art with my hands, instead of with a camera as a tool. However, I fell in love with taking photos when I started working at a portrait studio 10 years. But It wasn't the craft though that had me in butterflies, it was connecting with all the customers that would come in through those doors. Watching their faces light up when I sat them down to look at their gallery. Handing them the frames to take home and seeing them already cherish those heirlooms. Y'all. That's what had me hooked
There was a moment a few years ago when I had to decide where to put my energy & time. It was between two crafts I loved, both fine art and photography. Only one of these gave me the opportunity to directly serve another and build them up. Photography was the clear answer. We aren't just making pretty pictures together, we are creating and instilling the natural confidence in you with our shoot. To help you see & feel the real you, exactly as you are not as the world says you should be. Thats what this is all about for me. My goal is that when you leave our shoot, you will feel like you can conquer the world. I can't express how blessed I feel to serve so many lovely people.

2020
Everything changed, and in a matter of months I decided to take the leap and go full time serving my clients.
2017
The year I became an official photography business owner.
2015
Moved to Minnesota to intern at a art center + pursue a career in arts....
But also couldn't let go of photography and I flew back to Texas a LOT.
2010
Started working at a portrait photo studio.
This is where I fell in love with connecting with people & capturing their lives.
2008
Competed in the state wide art competition, I entered a charcoal drawing. Coolest part is I ended up winning awards.
2005
Ah, the glorious and challenging first photography class in high school - in black and white film. It was not a love at first sight, it was a struggle.
1999
Won the class award for 'most artistic' because every. single. assignment. was a secret art project for me. Can you say colored markers?
1991
Born in the sweet state of Texas, during a solar eclipse. So you can say I hit the ground running.
When you book with me, you're getting more than just beautiful images. You're giving someone else financial support. There is a wonderful family in Minnesota + several organizations that I am donating to in 2021. God has blessed me abundantly with serving so many wonderful clients. With that gift, He gives opportunities for me to give back to those He's placed on my heart.
