I am happy to share with you the recap of my week as we are all on this crazy journey called life together.

M U N I F I C E N T – (of a gift or sum of money) larger or more generous than is usual or necessary.

Monday is the start of another day, another week. The gift of one more day is more generous than any riches or rubies I could possibly receive. No ‘case of the Mondays’ here!

Highlight of my week: This past week, my Uncle & I opened up the bee hives to see how they were doing after winter. Sadly… the hive was flooded after a pretty gnarly storm. While its super disappointing that we lost the hive, I try to live by the “when life gives you lemons, dissect them. Photograph the stages of making that lemonade” attitude. I loved getting to take out all the old comb and photograph the details of the hive. Bees are such artists in their own way, and each hive is so unique.

Yes, I did this:
– Photographed the pretty rad band Edgar Derby in Denton!
– Spontaneously went rock climbing… and found a new way to scale the wall- with my head.
– Visited the new Fort Worth Camera off Montgomery! Yall, that new building is a photographers dream.
– I went an entire week without any ice cream and minimum sweets… I think that task deserves a gold star.

Celebrating: The fast arrival of my passport! I was so relieved when the process was 20X’s easier this time around. I am so beyond excited to travel to Africa this fall. To read more about my trip, click here.
