I have been wanting to write this post for quite some time, and here we are! Honestly, I could probably write a book on all the details of why I love Fort Worth Camera and their employees.

Wether you’re a professional photographer, or just want to snap some photos of the life around you, they are your go to team. Located off Montgomery and Camp Bowie, across from Will Rodgers memorial center.

The story:

I started my business with them back in fall of 2017. I had previously rented many times from Arlington Camera, and I had no reason to change rental companies at the time. They were honest and had great customer service, and were far more fair in pricing and late fees than Aperturent ( in which Aperturent charged me over a hundred for weekend rental and 200$ in late fees for it being a few hours late past the 12pm *Wowzas!*). Unfortunately, one time I needed a specific lens, and Arlington was rented out of that lens. Which happens, no problem or complaint there.

I searched other rental companies near me, and found Fort Worth Camera. After calling and placing my rental, I drove only 25 minutes from my house to FTW. However, its a little over 30 minutes to arrive at Arlington Camera, so first win.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with Mackenzie and payed for my rental. He assured me that they would continue to take good care of me, if I decided to switch rental companies. And they were not wrong! I walked around the store and noticed their wide range of gear and camera supplies, and noted that if I needed a battery I know where to come! Great first impression, great selection. It would have been silly of me to not give this a shot.

I did not switch because they were closer, I did not switch because they had better prices. I switched because of the level of personal care they gave me, the fact that they remember me when I come in. I switched because they help me out any way they can when I am having to drive almost an hour round trip, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. I switched, because excellent customer service is more important to me than anything else.

Seriously, do the math y’all. At least once a week, for most of the year, sometimes twice a week. Lots of miles and lots of rentals.

Over the course of almost 3 years, I have formed a relationship with this honest company that couldn’t be easily replicated elsewhere. I know their starbucks orders, we have photographed a wedding together, and I know they’re there for me.

I know its not just me either, many other customers have this experience with them. Its just who they are, and every customer that comes through that door is just as welcomed as I am. You can change your prices and deal, but you can’t change how much your employees care. Thank you Fort Worth Camera <3
