thank you for stoppin' ON OVER.

Hey there,

thanks for stopping in.

Hey there,

Tenacious Tuesdays | No. 10

Personal

back to blog

Howdy, yall! For weeks, I gave my weekly recap with its clever name “Munificent and The Mondays”.  Because, every new day is a gift more generous than I deserve to receive. Mondays have a bad rep, and its easy to get bogged down with a ‘case of the Mondays’ and lose the joy of the gift… enter the creation of the weekly recap name. While I find this statement to still be true, Its time for a little refresh on the weekly posts! From now on, Munificent and The Mondays will be called “Tenacious Tuesdays”

the quality or fact of being very determined; determination. Persistence.

I strive to be steadfast, tenacious, in all the tasks God has laid out in my life.

Highlight of my week:
The biggest highlight of my week was seeing Amanda in her wedding dress. We did her bridals at The Bowden where she and Brandon will be married in June. Seeing her in her dress in that gorgeous chapel made me even more excited for this wedding (As if I wasn’t super excited already, so Im not sure its physically possible to be more excited). Yes, I did this:
–Photographed a 1 year birthday photos at the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth. This sweet mommy + daughter duo made my morning so bright and fun. Upon request, we did a little mock up ‘cake smash’ with her and her cupcake. It was vanilla and strawberry icing, and it was so delicious. I only know this because I ate the entire thing after, in my car, in less than 10 seconds.
– Was sad to return the 24-70 zoom lens rental to Fort Worth Camera. Previously, I had been renting from Arlington Camera and didn’t see any real reason to switch over. Arlington Camera has always been polite and efficient. I stopped by one day to check out Fort Worth Camera, and from a first impression- I completely fell in love with the updated, modern facility. The staff was so helpful and personable, they won me over from the first hello. It technically is much closer to my house, after all.
– Photographed even more photos of CrossFit PAF competing in The Open. This time, I may have teared up a bit as they all did so wonderful and gave it their all!

Celebrating:  My best friends little brother turned 16 this week! I have known this kiddo since he was 5. We celebrated with the usual gourmet meal of cake and pizza. Im not sure theres any other way to celebrate a sweet 16. We played arcade games, tried our luck at bowling and may have failed epically at laser tag.
