the quality or fact of being very determined; determination. Persistence.

I strive to be steadfast, tenacious, in all the tasks God has laid out in my life.

Highlight of my week: My very first Open House with The Bowden. I walked in and saw all the tables lined up, my name on one of them. I set up my frames, post cards, laptop. I grabbed my camera and headed into the ballroom, where the rest of the vendors were setting up. There is all was. Pure bliss. So many beautiful displays from the planners, florists, and rentals. Cakes galore! Caterers were lining the walls around the room. In the corner stood a talented saxophonist and next to him, a DJ. To say I was a little overjoyed was an understatement. It was all very aesthetically pleasing and I had a ball capturing all these talented vendors work. Click here to see the Spring Open House.

Yes, I did this:
– Finished up photographing The 2018 CrossFit Open this past weekend. It was a blast hanging out with my team and cheering everyone on. As much as I wish every weekend was like this, I am happy to be getting back to my normal CrossFit schedule.
– In order to prepare for the open house, I drove over 100 miles in a matter of 2 days to gather items and prepare. Thankful I have a trusty car that gets me where I need to be!
– Made my way back around to editing more of the  #MichaelsChallenge I did earlier this month. I love playing in all kinds of flowers, even the fake ones.
– Met a wonderful florist, Lisa of Coco Fleur, who sent me home with a huge bouquet of roses, peonies and double tulips! I played in those beauties for days. She is beyond a blessing to me and I can’t wait to work with her in the future. This woman has more than just talent, she has heart.

Celebrating: This week, my sweet Papa turned 81. Eighty. One. Yall. I am so happy to have him here with me, as my other grandpa passed away when I was a youngin’. Hearing all his stories, and the way he looks at things is so different from how life is today. He knows a simpler time. A time when having less meant being perfectly content with life.
