Oh, the infamous pumpkin patch. I remember being a youngin’ and dying to go to the patch! Wanting to go into the hay maze and pick out the best pumpkin (or maybe all of them). I only went a few times, as my parents weren’t into the pumpkin patch scene. Busy, more expensive than grocery store pumpkins, etc. Instead of pumpkin patch we’d do other fun activities like halloween zoo trips and six flags! However, We did get the experience a few times, and it was always pretty cool.

I tagged along to take little man to the pumpkin patch this year, and it was interesting to see it through the eyes of a 1 year old. Always smacking pumpkins, trying to move them and running wild & free. This cutie is always so observant, and wants to ‘figure everything out’. This was his very first trip to the pumpkin patch and Im so happy I was able to be there. Because him exploring with mommy is always the best. These are the memories he’ll want to look back on! Look how many kiddos were there! It had rained the week before, and was suppose to rain again the next day. It could have been far more busy, so Im happy it was only mildly populated.

Okay real talk y’all, this was the surroundings around the hay bale. Compare it to the picture I snapped! Just goes to show that not everything is how it looks. It might look like he’s the only one here and its magical, but really its just as busy and were having to time it out perfectly.
